The core missions of the founders of Matric Tutoring and Resources are providing quality digital resources and  help anyone find their perfect tutor so they can achieve their goals. The founders are teachers, researchers and educational technologists. We believe that providing interactive digital resources for both teachers and students is essential to support the quality of education in Ethiopia.

Matric Tutors & Resources was born out of the belief that by bringing together all the best tutors in one place, you can help anyone find the perfect tutor for them.

This platform will also allows teachers to create their own resources and sell it to other teachers and students.

FOR PARENTS AND STUDENTS

We put you in control to choose private teachers you like at hourly rates you feel that meets your requirements. Teachers write their profile including experience, qualifications and fee so that you can get a strong sense of how they meet your demands.

Find private teachers you’re comfortable with to help you succeed in all topics from grade 1-12 and ESLCE past exam papers.  Use our platform to arrange lessons either online or home tutoring.

 If your teacher doesn’t meet your requirements, leave feedback to tell us why and we’ll connect you to another one free of charge.You will be refunded for the lessons you are not happy about.

Meet the Team

Solomon(aka Lucy)

Founder and Director

Solomon is the founder and director of Matric Tutoring and Resources. Solomon is a graduate in Mathematics, Business Management and Finance (First Class), Mathematical Science (PG) from Queen Mary, University of London. Solomon has also completed PGCE(Teaching) and MA Education and Technology from Institute Of Education (IOE), University College London. He has worked in the educational industry for over 11 years, teaching Mathematics and Economics in Further Education in London.

Addis Ababa Branch Coordinator

Solomon Getahun a graduated diploma in Biology from Kotebe College of Teacher Education, first degree in Biology Education from Mekelle University, MSc. Botanical science from Addis Ababa University. Solomon Getahun has over 10 years of teaching Ethiopian school curriculum, at the elementary, high school, and Dilla University. He was working as a researcher and now director for Biodiversity education at Gullele Botanic Garden Research Centre. He has been and still working restlessly to make our dream come true.
